The forms of the Altar Vessel series are inspired by the ceremonial vessels from the Earth Altar in Beijing. The textured surfaces of the glass vessels are achieved by blowing molten glass directly into the soil as a mold. The mycelium brick is homegrown and conforms to the texture of the soil.
